Hi, I'm Alex, I'm from Birmingham UK.
I first got interested in anime when, about 2 years ago, a friend from New York sent me a link for an anime over MSN.

This anime was, Shakugan no Shana.
I was astounded by it and have been a major fan of it ever since. So much so that I now have three Shakugan no Shana PVC figurines (one of which is now woth $180 - $250 according to eBay o_o) and both Noizi Ito anime artbooks
(Guren and Kaen).

I'm not the best artist in the world, but I like to think I am pretty good at drawing, although it takes me a while to make it look good. I am currently in the copying work from Pro Artists to get the hang of it stage, and I am hoping to push myself up to the can make a pretty decent character from my own head without too many reference points stage by the end of this year.

Apart from anime I like Music (although can't play any instruments, and yes, I have tried to)

I also am a huge fan of books. My favourite books are Necropolis and Lirael.
I am also attempting to write my own book, and that's coming along very nicely.
